flashback 2008 (2/2)

Alright, here we go with part 2 of the LOWTECH end of year review... Let's have a look at the latest edition of Switzerland's biggest pre-60 car and bike event, the Hangar Rockin' 2008, on a sunny weekend in the beginning of July...

On the road to the Bernese Oberland for the Hangar Rockin'

Crazy Cruisers' Custom Caddy

Stoeffel from Custom Parts & Wear

A few weeks later, we had a lot of fun at the Oldstyle Weekend in Sihlbrugg, close to Zurich.

During the summer holidays there wasn't much going on, until the end of August, when two events were held at the same weekend. One of them was the Hot Rod and Art Show in Weil am Rhein, just across the swiss border...

What a nice summer evening

Model A Coupe from the Rumblers Ruhrpott

The other show on the same weekend was the Customzone in Winterthur...

Bitchin' beetle with a subtle roof chop

Shoebox with a not so subtle roof chop

On the first weekend of September, we headed to the Headbanging at a former russian military airbase in Finsterwalde, right in the middle of eastern Germany. What a great event...

Authentic 1/8 mile hot rod race

The infamous "starter girl" of the Hot Heads East

Jan beating the crap outta his roadster

Some nice but smaller events put a crowning end to this perfect summer of 2008. Just like the US car meet in Lupfig...

...and the Skates, Monsters, Skulls & One Shot vernissage at Custom Parts & Wear.
