hambbq

Saturday was bbq day. HAMBer Bad Bob put up his annual HAMB bbq and we thought it might be cool to join the festivities. Even more so, when we heard from our friends that they were planning to go there, too. So, at 10 am we met with Chris Casny as well as Jack Carroll of the Burbank Choppers at a gas station in Hollywood and together we drove a couple of miles to the bbq located in a nice park. I forgot, where it was, but well, somehow we got there. We had a great time, met a lot of nice people and tasted some delicious burgers. Thanks to everyone for this great event!

flathead heaven

Vern Tardel needs no introduction. He is mister flathead, his ranch is the mekka for any traditional Ford hot rod follower and in spite of all that glory, he takes the time for you and your flathead needs, even if it's just a stupid question. a night in guadalupe

We're still travelling up and down the west coast and after a short trip to San Francisco (photos coming soon), we came back to Santa Maria where we met with Mark Garza of Stylish Kustoms. After a visit at his father's workshop (photos coming soon) he took us to Guadalupe, a beautiful small town where I took the chance to snap some pics of his beautiful 1957 Chevy wagon. Enjoy!

Had a blast at Santa Maria... checked out tons of killer cars, met so many nice people, can't get any better. Now I'm tired, so just these two artsy shots before I head for dinner.

Santa Maria kicked off with the traditional friday night cruising. We were simply overwhelmed by the amount and awesomeness of the cars in town and even forgot to grab something for dinner until most of the action was over. Here's a glimpse of what I saw.
