the road devils' hot rod and art show (photos!)

The last weekend of August 2007, the Road Devils Europe held their first Hot Rod and Art Show in Weil am Rhein, Germany. It was a very nice start with many cool cars at the indoor show, lots of artists and dealers and it was cool to meet new people from Germany and Switzerland. As I'm bit in a hurry I'll let the pictures speak for themselves. Enjoy!

This is gonna be cool. Rods, Kustoms, bands, a metalshaping workshop with kustom legend Gene Winfield, artists like Lil' Daddy Roth, David Vicente, Empire 32, Centeroiler, Spooky Sally and much more. See you Friday and Saturday at the Road Devils' Hot Rod and Art Show!

hot rod summer surf 2007

These guys are putting up a new event and they need some support, so don't miss it! Besides that, the location is one of Switzerland's coolest lakeside bars.

vintage advertising: '53 kustom chevy

I had some time to kill and decided to do some traditional kustom modifications to this '53 chevy cruising the streets of San Francisco. The most obvious mods are the lowering, a roof chop and the Corvette grille. Here's how the ad looked like before.

hangar rockin' 2007

I'm back from the annual Hangar Rockin' at the Birrfeld Airfield. It was a cool event with some great bands, nice people and way better than last year, dunno why. Maybe because of more rods and kustoms and fewer stockers. Anyway, I took some photos and if you want to see more of them, just have a look at my new Flickr photo album. There's more to come, stay tuned.

out now: deadend magazine 2/07

Glad they did it again: The Espinoza guys just released the latest issue of their awesome deadend magazine. Check it out at deadendmagazine.com. It's one of the very few magazines around with a selection of rides that never disappoints. Photography and layout are, as always, on a very high level. Highly recommended!
