This must have been one of the most international open houses at Custom Parts & Wear ever. Pinstriping artists from Japan, guests from the USA and Germany and of course lots of people from all over Switzerland made for an extraordinary atmosphere around the shop. Summer in Switzerland usually means lots of rain. So, you gotta make the most of now, as long as the sun is shining. Last saturday was perfect in every way as we ate, drank, cruised and talked almost at the same time, thanks to the Soler Speed Shop Open House. cheaters open house 2008

Barbecue, beers and bitchin rides? This must be the Cheaters Open House! The cool event was held for the fourth time and it's always worth the journey down to the leman lake. the early 50s look

This is something for the weekend... Some more great pics from Kyle's grandfather, showing the 1950 Oldsmobile he had bought new. The Coupe had the trunk and hood shaved in the typical fashion of early 50s mild customs.

another sunny weekend

Another busy weekend with no less than two car shows on one sunday. The first show is called American Live and it's Switzerland's biggest show for, you'll guess it, american cars. There are literally tons of perfectly restored 50s stockers and even more 60s muscle cars. And there are also lots of 70s cars with 80s style airbrush artwork on them. Talk about time warp. Anyway, I managed to pick some nice cars worth to be featured on this blog dedicated to traditional rods and kustoms. Click here to check out some more pics.
